1. What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer individual therapy and group therapy. Our specialties include perinatal mental health, anxiety and mood disorders, , stress management, and women's health. We also provide clinical supervision for LMSW and LGPC providers.

2. What can I expect in my first therapy session?
In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, and identifying your goals. It’s a chance for you to ask questions, share your concerns, and learn more about how we can work together. We aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your emotions and challenges.

3. Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept Aetna, BCBS, CareFirst, Cigna and Evernorth, UHC & Out of Network. We recommend that you contact your insurance provider to verify your benefits for out-of-network therapy if we don’t accept your insurance directly. We also offer flexible payment options for those without insurance.

4. How long does each therapy session last?
Each session typically lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your needs that day.

5. How many therapy sessions will I need?
The number of therapy sessions varies depending on your needs and goals. Some clients see improvement in a few sessions, while others may choose to engage in therapy for a longer period. We will regularly check in with you to assess your progress and determine if therapy should continue.

6. Can I do therapy online or virtually?
Yes! We offer virtual therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, so you can access therapy from the comfort of your home or any location that’s convenient for you.

7. What is perinatal anxiety and mood disorders?
Perinatal anxiety and mood disorders refer to mental health challenges that occur during pregnancy or the postpartum period, including anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). These conditions are common and can be treated with therapy, often with a focus on addressing the unique challenges faced by new, seasoned and expecting mothers. If you’re experiencing any symptoms, it’s important to seek support.

8. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful for anyone who wants to improve their mental health, manage stress, work through emotional struggles, or develop healthier coping strategies. If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected, therapy can offer support. If you’re unsure, we’d be happy to talk with you about your concerns and see if therapy might be a good fit.

9. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by filling out the contact form on our website. We’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

10. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. We understand that things can come up and will do our best to accommodate changes when possible.

11. Is what I share in therapy confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a core part of therapy. What you share with us during sessions is kept private, with some legal exceptions. These exceptions include if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if there is a legal obligation to disclose certain information. We will discuss these confidentiality limits with you at the beginning of therapy.

12. How do I know if I need therapy or if a different type of support is needed?
If you’re experiencing emotional distress, feeling stuck, or having difficulty coping with daily life, therapy is a great place to start. We can also help you assess your needs and refer you to other professionals, such as medical providers or support groups, if appropriate.

13. What should I do if I am in crisis?
